Simon Landrein은 프랑스 출신의 일러스트레이터이자 애니메이터다. 커리어 초반에는 Nexus, The Mill 등 스튜디오에서 3D 아티스트로 활동했고, 이후 《The New Yorker》와 《The New York Times》에 그의 미니멀하고 도발적인 스타일의 일러스트가 실리며 주목받기 시작했다.
현재는 다양한 매체에서 활동하며, 일러스트를 유쾌하고 기묘한 애니메이션으로 확장해내고 있다. 대표 클라이언트로는 The New Yorker, It’s Nice That, The New York Times, The Observer, Apple, Nike, Personal Magazin, Le Monde, Rick and Morty 등이 있다.
Simon Landrein is a French illustrator and animator. He started to work as a 3D artist for studios such as Nexus and the Mill. For a few years his minimalist and irreverent style appeared in the New Yorker and NY Times.
Since then he’s been working for many editorial clients and translate his illustration into hot and absurd animations. Clients include The New Yorker, It’s Nice That, NYT, The Observer, Apple, Nike, Personal Magazin, Le Monde, and Rick and Morty.
