Annemarieke Kloosterhof는 종이를 매개로 상상력을 펼치는 네덜란드 출신의 멀티디서플리너리 아티스트다. 2D, 3D를 넘어 4D 작업까지 아우르며, 전통적인 종이 콜라주부터 다층 구조의 페이퍼컷 일러스트, 종이로 만든 소품과 영화 세트, 대형 인스톨레이션 작업까지 종이의 잠재력을 다각도로 실험하고 확장해왔다.

언어 유희, 상징, 색채 이론, 관용구와 말장난을 좋아해 작업 곳곳에 유쾌하게 숨겨 넣는 것도 그녀의 스타일. 본래 네덜란드 출신인 그녀는 런던 Central Saint Martins에서 그래픽 디자인과 커뮤니케이션을 전공하고, 일러스트레이션에 집중하며 독자적인 감각을 키워왔다.

그녀의 클라이언트 리스트에는 Adidas, Adam&EveDDB, BBC, BBH, Facebook, L’Oréal, Viktor & Rolf, Universal Music, Bodyform, G . F Smith 등 다수의 글로벌 브랜드가 이름을 올리고 있다.

Annemarieke Kloosterhof is a multidisciplinary Dutch artist and maker who specialises in all things Paper! Her work ranges from 2D, 3D to even 4D, with anything from traditional hand-cut paper-collages & single or multi-layered paper-cut illustrations, to paper props, filmsets and event installations.

She likes drawing parallels in languages, loves symbolisms, colour theory, puns and idioms… and often tries to sneak these in to her projects.

Annemarieke Kloosterhof is originally from The Netherlands, she studied at Central Saint Martins (UAL) for Graphic Design & Communication and specialised in Illustration.
