차니다 아리와타나솜밧(ChubbyNida)은 방콕을 기반으로 활동하는 일러스트레이터이자 애니메이터로, 인간의 감정, 관계, 일상생활을 주제로 작업합니다. 2011년에 일러스트 작업을 시작했으며, 이후 런던의 킹스턴 대학교에서 일러스트레이션 디자인 석사 학위를 취득했습니다. 주로 일러스트, 애니메이션, 혼합 매체 작업을 합니다.

작업은 이야기 구성을 중요하게 여기며, 일상의 경험이나 개인적인 관찰에서 아이디어를 얻는 경우가 많습니다. 작업 과정은 러프 스케치로 시작해 구도와 내용을 정리한 뒤, 최종 이미지나 스토리보드로 발전시킵니다. 디지털과 전통 매체를 모두 사용합니다. 앞으로는 더 긴 형식의 작업과 다양한 방식의 표현으로 확장할 계획입니다.

Chanida Areewatanasombat (ChubbyNida) is a Bangkok-based illustrator and animator whose work explores human emotions, relationships, and everyday life. She began her illustration journey in 2011 and later earned a Master’s degree in Illustration Design from Kingston University London. Her practice spans illustration, animation, and mixed media, creating emotionally driven narratives through simple yet expressive forms. Chanida’s work is rooted in storytelling, often starting from small emotional moments or personal observations. Her process begins with loose sketches to explore mood and composition, then develops into refined visuals or storyboards. She works across both digital and traditional media. Her goal is to expand into longer-form storytelling and more immersive work, while continuing to create emotionally honest and accessible visuals.
