Cissi Efraimsson is a Swedish stop-motion director and animator based in Los Angeles. Her work blends reality with the supernatural, often incorporating myths and magical creatures in contemporary, pop-culture-inspired settings. Moving between precision and playful distortion, her bold, colorful style explores themes of fantasy, surrealism, nature, sex, and food, always infused with humor and playful energy.
Efraimsson also directs music videos, including Troglodyte by Viagra Boys, featuring beer-drinking monkey bandmates battling killer shrimps.
