.페리에(Perrier)와 일본 현대미술계의 전설 무라카미 다카시(Takashi Murakami)가 만났다! 한정판 보틀을 위해 무라카미의 플라워 유니버스를 그대로 병에 담아낸 것도 놀라운데, 여기에 프랑스의 아트 디렉션 에이전시 아르테팩트(Artefact)가 패러렐 스튜디오(Parallel Studio)에게 콜라보 요청을 보냈다.
과제는 하나. 무라카미 월드의 카와이함과 꽃의 만개한 기운을, 페리에만의 스파클링 에너지로 물속에 펼쳐보일 것! 패러렐은 이를 아주 유쾌하게 비틀었다. 웃고 떠드는 플라워들이 바닷속에서 깔깔대며 헤엄치는 오징어로 재탄생했고, 무라카미의 마스코트 키키와 카이카이도 빠질 수 없다.
이번 영상은 프레임 바이 프레임 2D 애니메이션과 3D 모션 디자인이 섬세하게 어우러져, 무라카미 특유의 컬러감과 페리에의 청량감을 제대로 터뜨린다.
Perrier and Takashi Murakami, the Japanese contemporary artist, recently collaborated to create limited edition bottles. French agency Artefact asked none other than Parallel Studio to adapt Murakami’s Kawaii and flowery universe, into a sparkling underwater adventure with its two mascots, Kiki & Kaikai.
Parallel twisted the iconic Murakami flowers into aquatic creatures that swim like cute laughing squids. The resulting film mixes frame by frame 2D animation with 3D animation and motion design. Take a peek at the film to feel some calming relief from the world in its current state.
